What to bring
Attire
Attire on the island is casual beachwear during the day. In the evenings when dining at restaurants, smart casual or island chic is required. In respect of the Islamic faith of the Maldives, please observe the following when visiting other islands: shorts or skirts must not be transparent or translucent and shoulders must be covered. The law prohibits nude and topless sunbathing in the Maldives.
Currency
Local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MRf). Although all billings are made in US dollars, most other foreign currencies can be exchanged at the resort. Please note, however, that the Maldivian Rufiyaa cannot be exchanged for any other currencies at the resort.
Payment Methods
All billings are made in US dollars. Bills may be settled in US currency or by credit card. The resort accepts major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
The following currencies can be exchanged at the resort into US Dollar: Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Danish Krone, Euro, British Pound, Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, Singapore Dollar, Swedish Krone and Swiss Franc.
Electricity
Electrical outlets in the villas are 220-240 volts. There is a 110/220 volt shaving point in the vanity area of the bathroom.
