The details
A dedicated Celebration Consultant can arrange: a ceremonial exchange of vows before a Maldivian Master of Ceremony; complimentary Maldivian wedding attire for the bride and groom on request; wedding cake; floral bouquet, headpiece, buttonhole and flower arrangements for venue; sunset ceremony dinner for two served by private chef and waiter; private use of tropically decorated 'bridal buggy' for touring the island; live Bodu Beru ceremony with drumming or acoustic guitar; romantic villa turndown on ceremony evening; champagne brunch the morning after ceremony; and a memorable coconut tree-planting to mark the occasion.
Other optional arrangements include the hire of a professional photographer, videographer and DJ; as well as personalised menus and private dining for wedding party and guests. (Wedding Dreams package require a three-night minimum stay).
The pampering
Wedding day pampering at the spa features a worldly mix of treatments from Bali, Thailand, Polynesia, and the Maldives. Here, the bride can choose the pampering treatments of a facial, manicure/pedicure, make-up and styling on the afternoon of the ceremony.
Maldives Honeymoons
One&Only Kanuhura discreetly caters to the individual needs and desires of the newly married. Thoughtful touches include a private dinner for two on the beach; floral bedroom decoration; candlelit bathroom; and romantic champagne Bath Ceremony.
