November 2006: One&Only Resorts is pleased to announce the following General Manager appointments across its resorts effective from November 2006:

- Mauro Governato, General Manager, One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritius moves to One&Only Ocean Club, Bahamas
- Jan Tibaldi, General Manager, One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives moves to One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritius
- Hector de Galard, General Manager, One&Only Le Touessrok, Mauritius moves to One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives

Mauro Governato has served for the last year as General Manager of One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius, where he has maintained the impeccable standards of One&Only Le Saint Géran - one of the jewels of the One&Only Resorts collection. Prior to this, Mauro worked as the General Manager of One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives, where he helped establish it as one of the premier resorts in the Maldives winning global accolades and awards. Mauro first joined One&Only Resorts in 2000 as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage at One&Only Le Saint Géran and in April 2001, he was promoted to Resident Manager.

Jan Tibaldi has served as General Manager at One&Only Kanuhura, Maldives for the last year where, under his leadership, the resort has continued to develop into a world-class luxury destination. Previously, Jan held the position of Resident Manager at One&Only Le Touessrok, Mauritius and prior to joining One&Only Resorts served as Resident Manager at Sandy Lane, Barbados.

Hector de Galard undertook the role of General Manager at One&Only Le Touessrok in early 2005. Prior to joining One&Only Resorts, Hector was responsible for the opening and management of Paraiso de la Bonita, Mexico and also opened the first luxury resort, Amanjena, in Marrakech, Morocco.
