RATES
All pricing are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and as of 1 July 2021, 6% Sales & Service Tax is exempted for room rates and fees only. A Tourism Tax of MYR 10 per room per night is also required to be charged upon check-out for non-Malaysian guests.

Rates, inclusions, and room occupancies are as stated in your confirmation and may be subject to change at any time without notice.

PAYMENT GUARANTEE POLICY
A valid credit card guarantee is required at time of booking and a reservation will be deemed confirmed after processing of all deposits and payments according to the below terms. The resort reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice if guarantee or full payment is not received on time. Confirmation is also subject to receiving all guest names, particularly for multiple room bookings.

Payment is accepted by credit card or bank transfer. An online payment link is available for secure credit card payments and the card utilised for this (and all online bookings) must also be presented by the card holder upon check-in, accompanied by passport or ID verification.

In addition, other Deposit and Payment terms apply and this includes:

2022 / 2023 YEAR
For travel 03 January 2022 to 31 January & 06 February – 31 March 2022
• One-night deposit is required at time of booking.
• Full and final payment is required no later than 7 days prior to arrival.

For travel 1 February – 5 February 2022
• One-night deposit is required at time of booking.
• Full and final payment is required no later than 7 days prior to arrival.

For travel from 1 April – 13 April 2022, 18 April – 30 June 2022, 28 August – 29 September 2022, 9 October – 21 December 2022, 8 January - 19 January 2023 and 29 January - 31 March 2023
• One-night deposit is required at time of booking.
• Full and final payment is required no later than 7 days prior to arrival.

For travel from 14 April - 17April 2022, 1 July - 27 August 2022, 30 September – 8 October 2022, 3 January – 7 January 2023 and 20 January – 28 January 2023
• One-night deposit is required at time of booking.
• Full and final payment is required no later than 21 days prior to arrival.

For travel in Festive season from 22 December 2022 – 2 January 2023
• 50% deposit is required at time of booking.
• Full and final payment is required no later than 90 days prior to arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to travel (or utilise the accommodation and services previously confirmed), cancellation fees may apply.

A change in the length of stay or dates of your reservation is subject to availability and may result in a rate change. A revision made to a booking may also constitute a cancellation. In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights. If a booking deposit must be refunded, please note that any credit card surcharge or currency fluctuation is unable to be refunded.

Cancellation, early departure, and no-show fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly as follows:

2022 / 2023 YEAR
For travel 03 January 2022 to 31 January & 06 February – 31 March 2022
• 7 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.
• Reservations made within 7 days of arrival require full payment within 24 hours and will incur a fee of 100% of the total room charges.

For travel 1 February – 5 February 2022
• 7 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.
• Reservations made within 7 days of arrival require full payment within 24 hours and will incur a fee of 100% of the total room charges.

For travel from 1 April – 13 April 2022, 18 April – 30 June 2022, 28 August – 29 September 2022, 9 October – 21 December 2022, 8 January - 19 January 2023 and 29 January - 31 March 2023

• Reservations made within 21 days of arrival require full payment within 24 hours and will incur a fee of 100% of the total room charges.

For travel in Festive Season from 22 December 2022 to 02 January 2023
• 90 days or less prior to arrival, will incur a fee of 100% of total room charges.
• Reservations made within 90 days of arrival require full payment within 24 hours and will incur a fee of 100% of the total room charges.

Early Departures or No-Shows
A fee equivalent to 100% per night plus taxes for early departures applies. In the event of a no-show (i.e. you neither use nor cancel your reservation), a fee equivalent to the value of the entire stay will be incurred. Early departures or cancellations due to inclement weather are fully chargeable.

Travel Insurance
One&Only Desaru Coast reserves the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical or personal matters, inclement weather, or other circumstances. It is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance prior to confirmation and acceptance of terms, conditions, and cancellation policy.

COVID-19 Update
In the event that there is a COVID-19 related travel ban, health or quarantine restriction at your point of departure or at the resort destination that restricts you from traveling to the resort destination, the resort will provide a full refund for a pre-paid reservation and/or waive all applicable penalties. In the event that you are in-residence at the resort and unable to depart the resort destination on schedule due to a COVID-19 travel ban, health or quarantine restriction, the resort will extend your stay based on a discretionary reduced rate off Best Available Rate (BAR).

ADDITIONAL GUESTS AND CHILDREN SURCHARGES
Subject to the maximum occupancy applicable by room, the following applies for additional guests:

Infants under the age of 4 years – complimentary year-round, including a cot if required.

Children from 4 years to under the age of 12 years - stay and dine free from the children’s menu during the following dates:
• 09 January 2022 to 31 January 2022
• 06 February 2022 to 31 March 2022

Children from 4 years to under the age of 12 years – a fee of 432 MYR per child per night inclusive of breakfast applies during the following dates:
• 18 December 2021 to 08 January 2022
• 01 February 2022 to 05 February 2022

Children from 4 years to under the age of 12 years stay and dine free from the children’s menu on existing bedding during the following dates:
• 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023
• If an extra bed is required for the child, an additional cost of RM 660 per child per night will apply.

Guests 12 years and over – a fee of 660 MYR per guest per night inclusive of breakfast applies year-round.

A maximum of one rollaway bed, subject to availability, will be allowed in each room and rates are inclusive of daily breakfast and selected guest activity daily.

All the above are subject to 6% Sales & Service Tax as of 1 January 2022.

SPECIAL EVENT DINING SUPPLEMENTS
• Mandatory New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner of 1,200 RM per person will apply for all guests on 31 December 2021.
• Children 4 - 11 years will be charged 238 RM per child on 31 December 2021.
• All prices are subjected to 6% Sales & Service Tax (SST) and any government prevailing taxes.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in Time
15:00 hours/3.00pm. Earlier access is subject to availability on day of arrival.

Check-out Time
12:00 hours/ noon. For guests requiring a later check-out, a fee equal to 50% of the room rate is applicable up to 18:00 hours/6.00pm and a full night’s rate is required after this time.

Transfers
Tesla Model X or Mercedes-Benz V-Class airport transfers may be organized subject to availability.

One&Only airport representatives are waiting to welcome guests with pre-arranged airport transfers outside the baggage claim area.

Senai International Airport in Johor Bahru is approximately 1-hour drive from One&Only Desaru Coast, Kuala Lumpur International Airport is 4 hours’ drive and Changi Airport Singapore is 2.5 hours’ drive (travelling time may differ depending on traffic conditions).

An advanced reservation is required, and rates are subject to change without prior notice. Transportation request shall be made 12 hours prior to transfer time and is subject to availability. One&Only Desaru Coast has the right to substitute vehicle if chosen vehicle is unavailable, however rate will not differ. Additional 50% surcharge applies for all pick-up and drop-off times between 23:00hrs to 07:00hrs.

OTHER INFORMATION
Group Bookings
A maximum of four rooms may be booked through the website. Please ensure you provide full names for each room, otherwise the duplicate name reservation may be cancelled. Please email reservations@oneandonlydesarucoast.com

Minimum Age
There must be at least one guest of minimum 18 years of age, with a valid credit card in their name, present upon check-in. This guest must be holding the payment for the travelling party against this credit card.

Smoking
All indoor areas, public areas and restaurants are strictly non-smoking.

Other
Please be advised that service charges, fees and taxes are subject to change at any time without prior notice and One&Only Desaru Coast reserves the right to introduce these in accordance with law and the prevailing tax rates at the time of stay will be charged, along with the introduction of any new fees or taxes.

One&Only Desaru Coast reserves the right to cancel a stay at a time prior to scheduled departure. In this event a refund will be issued of all accommodation pre-payments.
