A canopy of stars lights up the darkness of night
Be escorted through the sheer valley escarpments in a luxury 4WD vehicle, on explorations of the nocturnal world.
Heading out in a 4WD vehicle, this tour provides a memorable opportunity to observe some of Australia’s unique wildlife when they are most active. As the sun goes down, many of our smaller, less common animals emerge from their burrows, nests, tree hollows and dens to start foraging and browsing throughout the night. Your Field Guide will use their knowledge of the reserve to seek out the best places to encounter possums, wombats, gliding marsupials and owls and to observe the nocturnal behaviour of kangaroos, wallabies and wallaroos. Some of the proceeds from this tour are donated directly to important wombat research programs conducted by Western Sydney University.
The tour will include hot beverages and light snacks prepared by our culinary team and served on the reserve. Bookings are essential. Comfortable and warm outdoor clothing appropriate to the season, and covered footwear is recommended.
