Velocity Frequent Flyer is the award-winning loyalty program of Virgin Australia, providing members with many easy, everyday ways to earn Velocity Points and enjoy fantastic rewards sooner.

Not only can members earn Velocity Points by flying with Virgin Australia and Velocity's international airline partners, the Velocity Frequent Flyer program also offers a diverse range of non-travel partners, allowing members to earn Velocity Points on everyday purchases.

Earn 3 Points for every eligible Australian Dollar spent on accommodation at One&Only Hayman Island and 1000 Points per Qualifying Stay at One&Only properties outside Australia.

Terms & Conditions

The number of Virgin Velocity points awarded is based upon the room type booked and paid for, even if a different room type is provided. A Member staying at One&Only Hayman Island Resorts will receive 3 points for every eligible Australian Dollar (AUD) spend. A Member staying at our other One&Only Resorts worldwide will receive 1000 points for each qualifying stay. Virgin Velocity Australia Members who have not paid the eligible rate will not earn Points on the room tariff. Points can be earned by the Member on additional rooms booked if (i) the Member is staying at the resort at the same time; and (ii) all rooms are reserved and registered in the Member’s name; and (iii) the Member pays for all rooms. Benefits for Virgin Velocity Australia Members are applicable to the guest room accommodating the Member only. Virgin Velocity Australia points are earned on the net amount excluding authority fees and applicable service charges and after any discount has been applied to the bill. Members must present a valid Virgin Velocity Australia Card at the time of check-in to earn Points. Points will be credited to the Member’s Account only after payment in full is made for the qualifying stay. If the Member wishes to claim an adjustment to the number of Points awarded or, a retroactive claim, the Member must do so within 6 months of the date of transaction, by sending written details to Virgin Velocity Frequent Flyer Service Center or online via their Virgin velocity account with original invoice for which the Member did not receive the correct number of Points. Virgin Velocity Australia Members may not earn Points with any other frequent flyer or loyalty scheme for the same stay. Virgin Velocity Points may not be combined with or transferred to any other loyalty scheme. One&Only resorts reserve the right to change these terms and conditions, along with the available benefits structure at any time, with no advance notice. Members can earn points for accommodation stays on best available rates via oneandonlyresorts.com, or booked through One&Only reservations offices directly. Members are not eligible to earn Miles for reservations made via a travel agent or individual wholesale/tour operator. Other non-eligible rates include airline crew rates, travel industry employee rates, group bookings, conference and incentives events, government, special discounted stays, discounted long stays, banquets, club membership fees, gift vouchers, One&Only Resorts employee rates, barter, and complimentary rooms. Points cannot be earned on visit visas, retail charges, paid out charges, authority fees, service charges, medical fees, conference and banqueting functions.
