San José del Cabo, Mexico – Long recognized as one of the world’s most exclusive resorts, the legendary One&Only Palmilla is unveiling major enhancements that further raise the bar on ultra-luxury for the Baja Peninsula. New to the resort is Villa One—a four-bedroom, hilltop residence; a new location, as well as new activities, for the beloved KidsOnly Club; new menu additions at Agua by Larbi, SEARED, and Suviche; and a variety of activities—from art classes to culinary tours—providing every guest with the ultimate luxury—choice.

Villa One, the private, four-bedroom, 14,000-square-foot villa, perched on a hilltop, offers the resort’s discerning guests a sleek new retreat. Reminiscent of a glass house, the distinctively modern villa offers floor to ceiling glass doors, providing dramatic views of the infinity-edge pool, Sea of Cortez, and Los Cabos from every room. The living and dining areas feature an open display kitchen, while the outdoor terraces include poolside loungers under a palapa, as well as a large fire pit. Complete with a separate Butler Suite, dedicated household staff, fitness trainer and spa therapist, Villa One also offers a private screening room, and a personally stocked pantry providing an experience completely tailored to the guests’ tastes and whims.

The new, complimentary KidsOnly Club offers an abundance of fun for One&Only Palmilla’s younger guests, ages 4-11. In the newly redesigned space, kids can make lifelong friends and learn Spanish; practice Yoga, reflexology, and aquatic therapies; engage in a game of soccer, football, or volleyball; learn how to make sushi, pizza, or sumptuous desserts with the resort’s chefs in their own personalized chef whites; and relax at Agua Pool. At an additional cost, children can spend a morning with One&Only Palmilla’s golf pros.

The culinary offerings at SEARED, Agua by Larbi, and Suviche continue to make One&Only Palmilla THE dining destination in Los Cabos.

At SEARED, the steakhouse by Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, guests can enjoy new dishes including Spring Pea Guacamole; Roasted Cabrilla, mushroom yuzu broth and crunchy rice; and Crispy Beef Short Ribs, polenta fries and smoked chili glaze—all perfectly paired with an extensive selection of Mexican wine.

At Agua by Larbi guests can enjoy views of the Sea of Cortez while dining on Executive Chef Larbi Dahrouch’s authentic farm-to-table Mexican cuisine, including new dishes such as Roasted Beet and Green Tomatillo Salad, smoked fresco cheese, candied almonds, and guava vinaigrette; Pacific Octopus Ceviche “aguachile” style, red onion, Persian cucumber, cherry tomato, and cilantro; and Shredded “Cochinita Pibil Tamalito,” green tomato, mango, and habanero pepper relish.

And at Suviche, Chef Yoshiaki Akaike creates sushi and ceviche dishes, using distinct flavors of both Mexican and Japanese cuisines with new additions like Yellowtail Ceviche, green apple, jalapeno, and lime; Blue Fin Tuna O-Toro; and Salmon Tartar Guacamole.

One&Only Palmilla is a playground for discovery and offers an array of activities for the most discerning guests.

For the budding artist: One&Only Palmilla recently introduced an Art Loggia, where guests are given an opportunity to pursue artistic endeavors. Available to adults and children, classes are held overlooking the Vista Pool Lawn and the Sea of Cortez, or privately in the guest’s villa. Each class is led by Artist in Residence Tanya Talamante, as well as local guest artists, and focuses on a variety of areas, such as sculpture, mixed media and drawing.

For the culinary aficionados: One&Only Palmilla is once again partnering with Los Tamarindos Farm to offer guests a one-of-a-kind experience with Chef Larbi and Chef Enrique Silva. Available for the entire family, the culinary classes begin with a tour of Los Tamarindos where guests gather their own organic ingredients for the day’s recipes, cook alongside both chefs, and prepare (and enjoy!) a four-course meal.

For the water lovers: Guests looking for a day on the water are welcomed aboard One&Only Palmilla’s 95-foot, four-cabin, luxury Catari Yacht. Available to accommodate every whim, guests can choose from a day of relaxation—while taking in the beauty of Los Cabos and the Sea of Cortez—or enjoy water sports including kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, snorkeling. An on board culinary team is also available to prepare a tailored menu featuring everything from the catch of the day to flank steak fajitas, all accompanied by the perfect margarita.
