Property Terms
Rates
All room rates are in United States Dollars (USD) on a per room per night basis including breakfast for two.
Rates and fees are subject to 21% Sales & Occupancy Tax and 15% Service Charge, which will be applied in addition to the nightly rate.
A 16% Sales Tax will be added to all food and beverage charges. A 16% Sales Tax applies to all other purchases throughout the resort.
Rates, inclusions, and room occupancies are as stated in your confirmation. Rates, taxes and service charges are subject to change at any time without notice.

Payment guarantee policy
A valid credit card is required at time of booking as a guarantee and a reservation will be deemed confirmed after processing of all deposits and payments through a credit card link provided by our reservations team or bank transfer according to the below terms. The resort reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice if full payment is not received within 24-hours of receiving the credit card link.
Confirmation is also subject to receiving all guest names, particularly for multiple room bookings.
Payment is accepted by credit card or bank transfer. An online payment link is available for secure credit card payments and the card utilised for this (and all online bookings) must also be presented by the card holder upon check-in, accompanied by passport or ID verification.

Early bird bookings require a 100% deposit of total room charges at time of booking. Early Bird bookings cannot be cancelled, changed or modified.

Cancellation policy
If you are unable to travel (or utilise the accommodation and services previously confirmed), cancellation fees may apply.
A change in the length of stay or dates of your reservation is subject to availability and may result in a rate change. A revision made to a booking may also constitute a cancellation. In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights. If a booking deposit must be refunded, please note that any credit card surcharge or currency fluctuation is unable to be refunded.
Cancellation, early departure, and no-show fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly as follows:

Early Departures or No-Shows
A fee equivalent to 100% per night is incurred for all early departures and in the event of a no-show (i.e. if you neither use nor cancel your reservation), a fee equivalent to the value of the entire stay will be incurred.
Travel Insurance
One&Only Mandarina reserves the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical or personal matters, inclement weather, or other circumstances. It is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance prior to confirmation and acceptance of terms, conditions, and cancellation policy.
A change in the length of stay or dates of your reservation is subject to availability and may result in a rate change. A revision made to a booking may also constitute a cancellation. Additional guests and children surcharges
Occupancy is based on two adults (12 years and above) per room and up to four adults (12 years and above) per two-bedroom villa.
Subject to the maximum occupancy applicable by room, the following applies for additional guests:
• Infants under the age of 4 years – complimentary, including a cot if required.
• Children under the age of 12 years – complimentary, if using existing bedding
• Guests 12 years and over – a fee of USD100 per guest per night applies year-round.
A maximum of one rollaway bed is permitted in all room categories and is subject to a rate of USD35 per night. All rates are subject to Sales & Occupancy Tax and Service Charge.
For safety, guests under the age of 10 are not permitted in Treehouse accommodation. Additionally, a parent or legal guardian will be required to sign a waiver on arrival for all children aged 10 to 18 years of age at the time of occupation.

Special Event Dining Supplements
For stays over Festive Season December 16, 2024 – January 1, 2025, a compulsory New Year’s Eve dinner on December 31 at Alma is included in the room rate.
A special Christmas Eve dinner menu, prepared by our chef, will be available on December 24 at Alma or Carao. Please advise the normal restaurant menus will not be available on Christmas Eve.

Arrival and departure
Check-in Time
15:00 hours/3.00pm. Earlier access is subject to availability on day of arrival.
Check-out Time
12:00 hours/ noon. For guests requiring a later check-out, a fee equal to 50% of the room rate is applicable up to 18:00 hours/6.00pm and a full night’s rate is required after this time.
Airport Transfers
One&Only Mandarina can arrange private airport transfers. Transportation must be requested 24 hours before arrival. Please contact Guest Experiences at guestexperience@oneandonlymandarina.com.
15:00 hours/3.00pm. Earlier access is subject to availability on day of arrival.
Check-out Time
12:00 hours/ noon. For guests requiring a later check-out, a fee equal to 50% of the room rate is applicable up to 18:00 hours/6.00pm and a full night’s rate is required after this time.
Airport Transfers

As per Mexican regulations, One&Only Mandarina cannot accept settlement of accounts at the resort in USD cash and therefore credit card payment is required.

Smoking
For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is not allowed in the villas or treehouses and on the terraces, public areas, pools, beaches and restaurants. Smoking will be permitted in designated areas of the resort.
Rate Changes
Please be advised that service charges, fees and taxes (or the introduction of any new fees or taxes) are subject to change at any time without prior notice and One&Only Mandarina reserves the right to introduce these in accordance with law. The prevailing tax rates at the time of stay will be charged, along with the introduction of any new fees or taxes.
One&Only Mandarina reserves the right to cancel a stay at a time prior to scheduled arrival. In this event a refund will be issued of accommodation pre-payments.
