From Athens to Kéa

Please note, ferry services and private transfers between Athens and Kéa Island are currently unavailable at night. If your Athens flight arrives or departs in the evening or early morning, please contact our Reservations Team to discuss special rates at One&Only Aesthesis, our sister property in southern Athens. For the safety and comfort of our guests, late-night transfers between Kéa and Athens can be arranged in case of an emergency. All transfer options are subject to weather conditions. In the event of adverse weather, transfers may be delayed or rescheduled.

Useful details you need to know before you travel to One&Only Kéa Island

Passport & Visas

All visitors to Greece must present a passport valid for at least six months from the date of travel. Visa requirements for entering Greece vary significantly from country to country. Click here for more information.

Transfers

Kéa is the closest Cycladic island to Athens: just forty-five minutes away by speedboat (1 hour by ferry), or a thrilling 15-minute helicopter ride from Athens International Airport. The flight to Athens takes around 3.25 hrs from London, 2.25hrs from Zurich, 3.5hrs from Moscow and 5.5hrs from Dubai. Athens International Airport is served by a variety of airlines, and well-equipped to handle private jets. All transfer options are subject to weather conditions. In the event of adverse weather, transfers may be delayed or rescheduled.

Weather

Greece has a typical Mediterranean climate, with year-round sunshine and hot, dry summers. Winters in the southern lowland and island regions (including Kéa) are refreshingly mild; thanks to warm temperatures, you can still swim in the sea in early–mid October.

Greek is the country’s official language, but English is also widely spoken.
