Useful details you need to know before you travel to One&Only One Za’abeel

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in for Rooms is 3pm and check-out is 12pm. Although we will always attempt to provide rooms upon arrival, access before 3pm can only be guaranteed by reserving your room for an additional night prior to the date of arrival. Late check-out after 12pm is subject to availability. An additional late departure fee may apply. Suites enjoy complimentary early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability. Cancellations and no shows are subject to full stay charge. Cancellation terms are subject to change.

Visa Application Services

For guests that require a specific visa, One&Only One Za’abeel can assist with the relevant visa application. Please download and complete the Visa Application Form with enclosed instructions and the application can be submitted on behalf of the guest by the hotel. The submission, however, does not guarantee that a visa will be issued as it is entirely at the discretion of local authorities.

Passport & Visa

All visitors to Dubai must present a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel. Visa requirements for entering Dubai vary significantly from country to country. For UAE residents and nationals, a valid physical Emirates ID is required for the main guest and all room occupants. For international visitors, a valid passport is required for the main guest and all room occupants and must be valid for at least six months from the date of travel. Please note that digital copies, including UAE Pass, cannot be accepted. Visa requirements for entering Dubai vary significantly from country to country. Internet

Enjoy complimentary 512kbps WiFi/email browsing access for up to two devices in the comfort of your room and throughout the resort. High-speed WiFi for games, movies, video and sports streaming for up to four devices is available for a fee.

Dress Code and Behaviour Etiquette

Dubai is a tolerant and cosmopolitan city, however, guests should be aware of the Emirates’ cultural sensitivities while on excursions or visiting shopping malls. Please dress and behave appropriately in respect of the local culture.

Weather

Dubai has an ideal climate year-round with March – August (Spring/Summer) temperatures averaging 32°C/90°F, and September – February (Autumn/Winter) temperatures averaging 25°C/77°F.

Currency

The UAE’s official currency is the Emirati Dirham (AED), which is divided into 100 fils, and is pegged to the USD at 1 USD to 3.67 AED.

Electricity

The power supply in Dubai operates at 220 volts; adaptors are available upon request. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide converters.

Language

Although the official language is Arabic, English is widely spoken.

Time Zone

Dubai standard time is four hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +4).
